Original Riders at the 25th Anniversary Run 2004
The Wichita Toy Run was initiated in 1980 by members of the Kansas Modified Bike Association (KMBA), an association of local motorcycle riders.  On the first Toy Run, area motorcyclists arrived at a designated start point in south Wichita, each with a toy or stuffed animal strapped to their bikes, and rode in parade formation to the Salvation Army location on South Hydraulic to deliver their donations.  The first run consisted of 30 riders .

The Toy Run has grown over the years and in 2008, 2009.and 2010 over 3000 motorcycles participated in this annual event.  We have expanded our donations to include The Salvation Army, USMC Toys for Tots, and the Food Bank.

This event has become such a great tradition for the motorcycle community.  We are proud to support Wichita  in such a way during the Christmas season.

Through the generosity of thousands of motorcyclists from all social, economic, ethnic, gender and age backrounds, The Wichita Toy Run Association is one of the largest benefactors to the Salvation Army and the USMC Toys for Tots Christmas Programs in our area.
Each year we look forward to gathering together -   A time to meet new people, see old friends and continue the rich tradition of giving during the Holiday Season.

We Look forward to seeing YOU this year!
